In the last month and a half, Ithaca has become my second home. But…sometimes you have to get back to your roots.

It was so much fun–and maybe a little weird– being home for Apple Butter this year! I had a blast being in the parade on Saturday morning, and it was great catching up with my pageant sisters. I’ve missed them so much!

Although the weather was pretty gross on Sunday, it was great *really* getting back to my roots at the Hog Calling Contest. The contestants did a great job–not as great of a job as my dad or I, but they did okay. They’ll never be the Hog Calling Queen.

As much fun as it was, I am definitely happy to be back in my new home. <3
